Paper Abstract:      University campuses are environments characterized by the heterogeneity of intended public, both in user features (skills, competences, learning needs, etc.) and in the diversity of devices used for campus access. Under these conditions, mobile learning (m-learning) provides interesting solutions to satisfy such requirements. Some of these solutions are based on offering customized and personalized content access, or enabling new communication services. In this paper we will analyze general issues of m−learning focusing, above all, on the benefits and differences with e−learning. This analysis is based on an evaluation model that considers the available resources and services to achieve m−learning. Finally, we will discuss about an m−learning framework that addresses the analyzed m-learning issues in a Higher Education context. This work is part if the AEEVA Project (TIN2005-08788-C04-02) which is subsidized by the Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia of Spanish Government.
