Paper Abstract:
|
The Internet of Things (IoT) is quickly becoming a reality, connecting everything around us to the Internet, transforming ordinary objects or devices in smart devices, which act according to conditions or parameters. Through this revolution of Internet, the home is becoming smart. This article introduced the technologies required for Smart Home (SH) IoT deployment, summarizing some applications and domains and proposing a new graphical IoT classification, in order to identify where the technologies could be implemented. Also, defines some analysis parameters for a SH deployment based on some studies and summarizes the technologies with these parameters in a table. It concludes explaining the main characteristics of technologies for SH and the growing technology. |
